What A great little radio at a great price picks up alot of stations my other radios dont get.The sound is very clean as well and at this price it cant be beat.Well worth the dollars i spent on it.Quality at a good price.
Reception can be a little weak at times, but it's still does a good job most of the time. This isn't the greatest radio, but its a pretty good value for the price.
I did notice if I'm walking around in the house with it, the reception goes in and out; I suppose that's typical. This little transistor radio gets great reception -- I can even get two different FM NPR stations inside my house. The sound quality is of course typical of a little radio, but for listening to news and talk shows, it can't be beat.
The tuning is great and the volume is outstanding for such a small unit. Pocket radios are fairly hard to find nowadays, and this made the perfect gift for my mother.
I chose this radio because I must have a battery-operated model. I work in a warehouse, and the noise level is pretty high, so I have to be standing directly in front of the radio in order to be able to hear the music at all. This little radio works pretty well. The only complaint I have is that the volume level just barely allows me to listen to it at work.
